NICA
Who is NICA?
Serving Tarrant County since 1969
Located near Fort Worth’s historic Stockyards, NICA was established in 1969 to help serve our community by providing food, clothing, and self-help programs to families in the North side of Fort Worth and surrounding communities.
While the most pressing needs are met through our direct aid programs, our vision is to help families physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.
Providing a hand-up and not just a handout is our intention. Long-term goals are designed and met through case management, crisis counseling, employment, education, and community services. Our aim is to aid and empower people by either providing or linking them to opportunities that will assist them in getting back on their feet, strengthen their families, and ultimately strengthen their neighborhoods.
Cancer Care Services
Cancer Care Services uses a social work navigation model to reduce disparities and distress in our community. Cancer Care offers financial, emotional, and educational resources to improve patient access to care and the efforts of healthcare professionals. Together we can support our community’s ability to care for patients and their families. Your help = hope for those impacted by cancer!
ACH Child Services

Through leadership, research, and training, ACH will set a recognized example for replicable programs in child welfare that dramatically strengthen families and reduce child abuse. Our vision is to be a leading agency in the communities we serve, so that families thrive, and children experience safety, hope, and love.
